Conservation Areas in the GTA - Get Outside & Explore!!

Rockwood-Conservation-Area-5

Sometimes after a long day at work, it's easy to just curl up on the couch in front of the T.V. with Netflix, wine, cheese and default to being comfortable. Trust me. I know alllll about that. Sometimes you just need a mellow night like that. BUT. If you notice it becomes a routine and you're finding that your life is feeling a little predictable and bland, it's time to change it up!! Get OUTSIDE. Even for a 10 minute walk! LISTEN to nature's music. SEE the colours. The textures. FEEL the peace. Do it today! you'll feel amazing after!

There are so many amazing conservation areas that surround us in the GTA. They can serve as gems to our sanity and inner well being. I heard about Rockwood Conservation Area from a friend and decided to go over. Just a 30 minute drive from my place! They have canoe and kayak rentals and a beautiful river to paddle down! WOW. It has been so close to home this whole time. Go out and explore! You'll never know what gems you'll find close to home.
