Jared noticed the cute barista at a coffee shop one day. Little did he know that she already had a crush on him. two and a half years later, they got married!

Talk about a chill wedding day. This was one of the most relaxed weddings I've ever photographed! I think it was partially because when I arrived where the girls were getting ready, they were just all sitting around in their pretty robes with their hair + make-up done! I loved this! This meant they all got to relax and enjoy time together instead of rushing out the door to get to the ceremony on time! Plus, BONUS, we had a lot of extra time for pretty pictures :)

I had such a blast documenting their day and getting to know their friends + family that I didn't want to leave by the end of it! I felt like I found my tribe and it felt like home in a way! I love it when that happens in life. When connections are made so easily and you feel free to just be you.

Alex + Jared are from Beaverton, so naturally, they got married at Downswell Farm in Beaverton. Their ceremony was so sweet + emotional. I felt so honored to be in the presence of that energy. Then we had some crazy adventures that followed during the portrait portion of their day. These included the whole bridal party trespassing onto a field, but first I had to make sure the fence wouldn't electrocute anyone, so naturally I touched it, and confirmed that it wasn't live :) It also involved pulling over to look at some cows, which..well..started mating right in front of our eyes LOL. I must say I have never seen a "cow", or you know, two, so tall! Jared was pretty disturbed haha!

Scrolling through these photos, I can't help but have a huge smile on my face of all the moment I got to document. The day was surely FULL of them! Oh and did I mention? They had pizza for dinner at their wedding! Yess!
