Chateau Des Charmes Niagara Wedding | Taylor + Richard
On a sun-kissed day in September, I had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful moments of Taylor and Richard's wedding at the breathtaking Chateau Des Charmes in the Niagara on the Lake region! As a Toronto documentary wedding photographer, these are the days I live for!
The day began with me joining Richard and the guys as they kicked off the festivities with whiskey and a game of "never have I ever." Laughter echoed through the room as they shared stories and toasted to the adventure ahead. Meanwhile, over at Taylor's getting ready location, she was surrounded by loved ones, creating memories and sharing laughs. One particularly touching moment was when Taylor flipped through old printed photos with her family, reminiscing about cherished memories from her past. I totally teared up overhearing their stories because I'm such a sentimental sap at heart! As a wedding photographer in Ontario, these are the moments that make my job so rewarding.
As Taylor arrived at Chateau Des Charmes, the anticipation was palpable. Against the backdrop of the stunning venue, she slipped into her dress and made her way to her first look with Richard. The look of pure love and joy on their faces as they laid eyes on each other was truly priceless! This is what documentary wedding photography is all about – capturing those genuine, unscripted moments.
With portraits captured and hearts full, we prepared for the ceremony, which was nothing short of romantic. Surrounded by the picturesque scenery of Chateau Des Charmes, Taylor and Richard exchanged vows, sealing their love in the most beautiful setting imaginable. Finding the right wedding photographers in Niagara is key to capturing these memories!
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the venue, cocktail hour commenced. Taylor and Richard, having taken their portraits earlier, were able to fully enjoy this magical time with their guests, basking in the golden light of the sunset and even sneaking in some bonus sunset photos – a photographer's dream! This Toronto wedding photographer was in heaven!
The reception was a perfect blend of emotion and laughter, set under a stunning tent adorned with delicate yet whimsical florals. Tears were shed, speeches were made, and laughter filled the air as Taylor and Richard celebrated with their nearest and dearest. I love capturing candid wedding photos in Toronto and beyond!
And of course, no wedding celebration would be complete without dancing! With a live band setting the mood, Taylor and Richard danced the night away, surrounded by love and laughter. As a wedding photographer in Southern Ontario, I see so many amazing celebrations, but this one was truly special.
