Destination Surf Town Couple's Session
"The greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love & acceptance" - Brain Tracy. This is what these two give to each other <3 They are inspiring! Birgit and Uli have been together for almost 9 years. Just 2 months after they met, they decided to leave home (Austria) and travel together for... 7 MONTHS! Yup. When you know, you know. It's so beautiful to see a couple following their hearts like that! :)
Currently, they have been traveling South America for 3 months and their adventure ends this September. Birgit is a social worker and was lucky enough to be able to take this time off. Uli is still in school studying environmental engineering, so he was also able to adventure for a longer period of time.
Naturally, we started off the session at a local bar called Surf Shak with some drinks and playing Jenga! I wanted to see how competitive these two could get with each other so I backed out and let them do their thing. I was starting to sweat because they were doing so well and I didn't want it to topple over! haha! Soon after, we started walking down towards the beach. Birgit & Uli started laughing because they said they felt like everyone was staring at them getting photos taken by me. They said "haha, maybe they think we are celebrities from another country or something!" We laughed at that for a while, because you don't normally see couples being photographed like this here haha! Once we got to the beautiful beach with the sunset, it was time to just let them be free, do their thang, and capture their spirit. I loved every second of it and didn't want the sun to set at all because I knew that once it did, the session would soon be over!
Thank you Birgit & Uli for having the courage to just be yourselves and having me document that for you two <3
