Aimee + Blake's Sentimental Montreal Wedding

Aimee and Blake first met in Montreal. It felt like they had come a full circle and their sentimental Montreal wedding day was full of reflection, revisiting special places, and celebrating with loved ones.

First I went to see the guys and I loved how chilled out and relaxed everyone was. One of the groomsmen couldn't bear the thought of not getting his daily workout in so I was able to get some fun shots of the guys working out.

The girls got ready in the most elegant setting and there was so much warmth filling the room. Everyone was just so sweet and loving with one another. When Aimee was ready we called an Uber to go and see Blake for the first look. Things got interesting once the Uber arrived and the engine wouldn't start. Luckily we were able to have a laugh about it and the driver quickly sorted everything out.

Aimee and Blake had their first look at the same place where they had their first date -at Mt Royal. It was so beautiful and serene, a peaceful moment between just the two of them surrounded by calming nature. We also found the most gorgeous spot overlooking the city.

Before heading over to the ceremony at Scena, Aimee and Blake took a stroll down Old Montreal looking absolutely elegant and timeless on the backdrop of the historic buildings. The ceremony was very intimate and heartfelt. The natural daylight filling the space created such an ethereal vibe.

The cocktail hour was outside on the spacious terrace by the water and the reception was so much fun with some truly epic speeches and amazing stories. However, one of the most special moments in the whole wedding was when one of the groomsmen and a guest surprised the couple with jaw-dropping opera singing, leaving everyone speechless. To this day it's one of my favorite surprises I've ever seen at a wedding.

Surrounded by the most beautiful sparklers, Aimee and Blake had their first dance before everyone else joined in on the dance floor. And by everyone, I mean everyone -so much fun seeing people of all ages coming together to celebrate and just have the best time of their lives.
