03: How to Figure Out Your Editing Style + Stay True To It

See this content in the original post

In the third episode of my Shine + Thrive podcast, I share how you as a photographer can find your editing style and stay true to it.

Photographers are our own worst critics, and until we put boundaries for ourselves, we constantly go back and forth between being confident to doubting ourselves.

Does this sound like you? Are you looking for ways to find an editing style that feels true to you?

It's possible, and I have five steps to help you get out of the comparison trap and start being yourself both personally and professionally.

[02:30] - How being inspired by others and playing with presets help you figure out you want things edited.

[03:16] - Using someone else's preset is okay, but find out what you should ask yourself first.

[07:25] - Don’t get discouraged if finding an editing style you love takes time.

[10:00] - Keep your editing timeless.

[11:46] - How comparison stifles confidence and creativity.

Listen to Episode 2 to learn more about being yourself.
