Nina and Mike got married at one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues in Ontario, and that is Arowhon Pines Resort in Algonquin. They started off the morning spending quality time with family and friends outdoors by the lake! Such a perfect way to start off a wedding day in the summer!

Later in the day after their first look, they chatted with their close friend who was also officiating the wedding just to make sure all the last minute details were figured out. I knew that their friend meant a lot to them and so I’m so proud of the candid photo I got of the three of them spending time right before the ceremony. The ceremony was outdoors by the lake in the warm bright summer sun. When it was official, and they were hubby + wifey, everyone threw rose petals at them! For some reason in the photos it looks that they are surrounded by butterflies here! It was super romantic. I LOVE how connected they were with celebrating with their family and friends right after. There were so many hugs, so much laughter and happiness.

Then they went on to have their cocktail hour. Nina and Mike are big Raptors fans and of course this was the year the Raptors were killing it in basketball so they entered their reception wearing Raptors shirts which was so fun and surprised everyone!

Later in the night when it was finally time for a dance party, they had the most epic live band - The Jade Monkeys. To add to the vibe, they had neon lighting and a ceiling full of balloons! Everyone was partying so hard. It was definitely a room full of self expression (which is my happy place) so it will always be a night to remember for me, and I’m sure for everyone else!
