Roxanne and Jake's wedding day started off at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. They got ready there, spent quality time with friends and family then they had their first look in the city. Since they love both the city and nature, we tried to balance out their portraits with some city photos of them just outside of the Royal York hotel, and then we went over to the beaches because they have spent a lot of time there together over the years.

On the way to The Beaches, we were having the time of our lives cruising around in a vintage Rolls Royce! At one point they said that we were going to pass by the place that they first met on Queen Street, and that it was called Gabby's, and I'm like, “Oh my gosh, we need to pull over and stop there for a photo!”. So I got a photo of them in front of Gabby's where they first met years ago!

Their ceremony was hosted in her parent’s backyard near the Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto, which was incredible because it was overlooking Lake Ontario. It looked like a dream and literally felt like it was like a destination wedding, but it was right in her parents’ backyard. The decor was incredible. She had like vintage carpets spread out everywhere and cozy blankets for later. What an intimate way to celebrate their day.

Their reception was filled with some really, really emotional AND hilarious speeches. And they also had their first dance under the dark sky and twinkle lights in the moonlight. Two humans and a day that I will always hold near my heart and never forget! :)
