Sequel Inn Wedding | Clarisse + Ryan

This wedding day started off a little bit different. Well, first of all, let me just let you know that the wedding was at Sequel Inn in Ontario. It started off a little bit differently because I'm a big believer in documenting the actual story and personalities of people on wedding days. When I found out that Ryan and his guys were going to go play golf in the morning, and they love playing golf together, I was like, why don't I come over and document that as well so you guys have a memory of you playing golf together. So I did that!

And then I headed over to where the girls were getting ready. When Clarisse put on her wedding dress, her mom just dropped so many tears, so that was really special to witness. To add to that, Clarisse also had a first look with her girls, and they also got really emotional!

Their outdoor ceremony was settled in a field surrounded by distant fall coloured trees. As Ryan was waiting for Clarisse to walk down the aisle towards him, he started bawling. He couldn’t hold his tears back and I loved that he let it all out (you’ll see in the photos below)! As you may know, I LOVE photographing weddings outdoors, and one of the main reasons for that is I get to play around with so many different perspectives. When it came time for them to go in for their first kiss, I chose the perspective of having their family + friends all be in the background as well and I’m OBSESSED with how those photos came out!

The reception was SO MUCH FUN! Again, the people made it! It was full of even more tears, laughter and games. And the party was wild. Everyone brought out their best dance moves. And to end off the night, whoever was leaving was going to be driven off in a school bus. So that was really fun, too!
