I'm so excited to take you on a journey through one of the most unique weddings I've photographed: Gillian + Peter's 70's Vibes Wedding!
Basking in the glorious sunshine at the oh-so-charming Glen Drummond Farm, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the love tale of Victoria and Cooper! Brace yourselves for this rollercoaster of emotion – from tearful reveals to bellyaching laughs and all the beautiful, candid moments that happened in between.
Kecia and Riley's winery wedding was a total dream! The bright blue skies and perfect weather made for an amazing day. Riley started things off right with some lawn games and a few drinks to get the party started. Meanwhile, Kecia spent some quality time with their son Slater, as well as with friends and family, before settling into the makeup chair and relaxing/meditating her way through it all.
It’s a way to celebrate + honour your relationship, your bond and your journey together in a freedom kind of way. Where you can choose to have as much space as you want on your day/s to do what you want, when you want, with who you want, and how you want! OH and to take the money you would spend on a full on wedding and SPOIL YOURSELVES ;)
Sara and Matt's Northridge Inn wedding celebration was one for the books! After years of waiting and postponing due to the uncertainties of the pandemic, and having their own micro wedding when restrictions were lifted, these lovebirds finally tied the knot AGAIN (lol running joke of the wedding day) in front of everyone they wanted to celebrate with and it was nothing short of perfect.
Rebecca and Riaz's Family Farm Wedding was a peaceful and unforgettable day. The wedding took place in Rebecca's childhood home, a farm filled with memories and love. Riaz and his friends kicked off the day by going fishing and getting ice cream on the sunny summer day! By the way, I strongly recommend that you do whatever you want to kick off your day.
Kim and Graham's wedding day in Port Carling was a true testament to the power of love and the ability to make the best out of any situation. The day started off with a rainy forecast, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests. Instead, the energy felt laid-back and relaxed, making for a truly unforgettable celebration.
Alisha and Stephen's wedding day at Kurtz Orchard was the epitome of romance, with a perfect blue sky overhead and a relaxed morning spent with close friends and family. As the couple prepared for their big day, laughter filled the air, setting the tone for a celebration filled with love and joy.
Gigi and Izzy's Lake Rosseau cottage wedding was a dream come true. The stunning family cottage property on Lake Rosseau had me drooling at all the beautiful spots that surrounded us. The couple had their first look at a boat house, which was so much fun to document!
Nav and James' Country Wedding at Kehoe + Kin was one for the books!! The guys started the day by chillin' at Long Beach Resort, sipping on beers, and making jokes before the big day. Meanwhile, Nav and the girls were ready ahead of time and decided to take a laid-back approach as well, enjoying their morning with some chats and snacks.
It was such a fun adventure to shoot Jess + Kyle’s Algonquin Camp wedding! I LOVED the chill vibe of the whole day and how connected they got to be with each other, family + friends, and nature throughout the day in this grounding + relaxed atmosphere.
Every time I put together the Best Wedding Moments of the year slideshow and watch it when it’s completed, I cry my eyes out, in a good way - lol. If you want a little reminder of what matters most in life (connection + love), then watch the 3 minutes slideshow above + let it take you on a raw love journey!
Oh my gosh, Morgan and Brendon's lakeside backyard wedding in Ontario was a freakin' dream come true! As a wedding photographer, I was totally vibing with their laid-back and stunning nature surroundings.
Hannah + Nick’s family farm picnic wedding was SO representative of them and their family history! And yes you heard that right! They had a picnic ceremony! Their day took place on their family farm in Ontario which has so much variety in it’s landscape. It has rolling hills, a stream, forests, and wide open spaces.
Jess and Joe got married at Airship37 in Toronto. The day started off pretty chill and calm, getting ready with just their closest family members. When the time came for their first look, they shared their first look in a stairwell, which in the building we were at, had the most light to work with and actually turned out beautifully!
Well, first of all, let me just let you know that the wedding was at Sequel Inn in Creemore, Ontario. It started off a little bit differently because I'm a big believer in documenting the actual story and personalities of people on wedding days. When I found out that Ryan and his guys were going to go play golf in the morning, and they love playing golf together, I was like, why don't I come over and document that as well so you guys have a memory of you playing golf together. So I did that!
Michelle and Dan got married on November 16, 2019 at The Great Hall in Toronto. And little did I know when I was shooting this wedding was that this is the last wedding I would shoot before COVID hit. It's pretty crazy to look back on that and realize that this was the last one before so many things changed in the world.
Nina and Mike got married at one of my favorite outdoor wedding venues in Ontario, and that is Arowhon Pines Resort in Algonquin. They started off the morning spending quality time with family and friends outdoors by the lake! Such a perfect way to start off a wedding day in the summer!
Angeline + Sean got married in Port Sydney, Northern Ontario at the beautiful Trillium Resort & Spa. Surrounded by their closest friends + family, their wedding day was full of joy, emotions, and relaxing nature all around!
This magical Flower Forest wedding in Barbados was one of my favorite destination weddings ever. The couple actually lives in Barbados, so it was a very sentimental location to them. They had so many of their family and friends fly in from all around the world which helped make it even more special!
I drove up north to the Algonquin Highlands in Ontario to document Sara + Matt exchanging their vows at their family cottage with their closest family + friends. It's where they spend so much of their time together, so many weekends. So it's a very meaningful location to them. I love that Sara and Matt did it their way. They got ready together. So there was no first look or anything. They actually helped each other get dressed!
Roxanne and Jake's wedding day started off at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Their ceremony was hosted in her parent’s backyard near the Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto, which was incredible because it was overlooking Lake Ontario. It looked like a dream and literally felt like it was like a destination wedding, but it was right in her parents’ backyard. The decor was incredible.
Grace + Iain's sentimental Gravenhurst cottage wedding is one to remember. This was a real day of connecting, having fun, and sharing so much love out in nature. The wedding took place at Grace's family cottage which means the world to both of them.
Back in 2018, I got to travel to Japan to document Abeer + Yuki’s engagement session. They met and live together in Japan so I LOVED being able to adventure with them through their area while keeping the storytelling sentimental and authentic to that chapter in their lives. It was a rainy engagement session but the photos turned out amazing!
Throughout the wedding day, Amanda and Jay's energy was flying high. They interacted with their daughter in the sweetest ways and made sure to involve her in the celebration as much as possible. This created an atmosphere of love that made the day even more special.
